Poppies1 is quite narrow and is virtually a one way street although this does not stop traffic turning it into two way street, they just move over or reverse into a side lane to let on coming traffic pass.

Never had a problem with Bluebird taxi's but some inexperienced drivers especially from other companies aren't keen to enter Poppies1 but will if you insist.

The Masa is half way up Poppies1 and it is roughly 300 meters to the beach and about the same to Legian St.

All the ground floor rooms are easily accessible and the shower is over a very big bath.
There are two pools and both are easy to use for people with a disability (especially the back pool).
We have had friends in their 80's with walking frames stay there and they did not have any problems.

You are central to restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets, chemists doctors and there are also several friendly Masa Inn drivers at the front of the hotel if you wish to use them.

Depending on how far (you can always rest in a bar lol) and how much walking your friend wants to do ,I don't think you will have a problem.

Hope this helps
