You imply in this post that being married to an Indonesian somehow makes it 'easier' to live in Indonesia by stating that not being married to one poses some sort of problem.

The fact is that being married to an Indonesian makes no difference if you want to live in Indonesia. Doesn't help any more with the 'small things'. You have no advantages getting visas, other than maybe a ready made sponsor. And doesn't help with housing. Anything you can do when you are married to an Indonesian you can do when you are not.
