Yes it's a good family hotel but the family rooms book up very quickly. It is open to the beach - I don't know if that is an issue. The Bali Dynasty is probably the best family hotel in that area. They have a kids club and there are always lots of other families staying there. There is a big wall that separates it from the beach so there is no chance of the kids wondering off onto the beach.
