When we flew AAX in 2008 the hot seats where different from premium XL seats. The premium seats where full Biz class seats. The hot seats where just normal economy seats that where over exits. Back then there was no seat allocation so hot seats also got express boarding. Premium XL seats where $100 where as hot seats where $30. It's all changed since then, so maybe with these new seats it will change again.
