I was diagnosed with bowel cancer late 08, no warning just felt uncomfortable and sent to hospital where I was told the results of tests and straight to surgery. I was lucky and am now all clear, only needing a colonoscopy each 3 yrs. I just kept saying nooooo I will not get cancer despite hubby having regular colonoscopys, and our GP nagging me to have one. We had to cancel a trip to India, and like Joy, got a full refund, which we have since used, and just booked to 12 nights in May at the Jayakarta. Everyone, get your tests done, its only a day out of the rest of your life, nothing compared to my mistake of ignoring my GP.
