and that Joy is correct, not just polite or relieved, in thanking them. They have done the right thing by Joy, morally that is. I have a feeling that with cancelling or postponing due to ill health they could have said "No refund, contact your travel insurer". Given what a nightmare travel insurance can be for cancer sufferers, it is quite possible that they would have refused payment and Joy would have been left out of pocket.

In this case I say well done Jetstar.
