We've had babies for the last 4 yrs and 4 trips to Bali. The wife would carry the infant in a Baby Harness. Myself, I'de simply carry the baby in my arms, though it would take double the time to walk anywhere as locals would always ask if they could hold the baby for a bit. Taxi's are no problem at 40km/h you can simply hold the baby in the back seat. At 80 or otherwise, use the same baby Harness you walk with, Belt underneath across your chest as usual. Locals seem to use a sarong or something of sorts as a harness. They tie it up in such a way around their shoulder, baby would lay in in it and they'd walk around. We've never used a pram, even at home, but Bali would be a bit arkward for sure with all the holes, and missing Pavers etc.. As soon as our Kids took their first step, they were made to walk everywhere, just hold there hands around the scary bits.
