We have just returned from Bali and while we didn't stay at the Breezes we did walk past each day. All 'Breezes' signs have been covered up and there are at least 10-12 very suspect looking security guards on the gates at all times. We did find out that the hotel has recently been sold and a local told us it had been sold to some gangsters. We also met some Australians who moved to the Sofitel after only 1 night of a 15 night booking at the Breezes. They felt very insecure staying at the Breezes and said there were lots of very sleazy characters hanging around the hotel. Advice would be don't stay there and move somewhere else.
