but definitely not for the monkeys. I'm 27 years old, and the monkeys FREAKED me out. I couldn't imagine how scary it could be for 4 and 5 year olds.... I went to the Monkey Forest in Ubud and thought it was great... but to be honest the monkeys didnt really register for me. It was pouring down with rain, and there weren't many about... what captured my attention was the beautiful scenery/statues/temples etc. The monkeys we did encounter were very placid though. Happy to take bananas off us but never got too close. Nothing like the snatchy monkeys at Uluwatu.
