Have a look at the Suriwathi in Garlic Lane, it is only about 2 2/4 star but has a lovely pool, rooms are clean a/c staff are great breakie is ok but plenty of rest. around if you dont like the breakfast security is 24hr, it is only small but nice and not many kids are there if you are looking for peace and quiet.
