it was fantastic. I'm not sure if you know about Janet DeNeef (she's from Melbourne), she owns the cooking class and alsorts up there at Ubud. She has a great book out called Fragrant Rice, it's all about her life there. It's a jolly good book! 2 years ago I booked into the class for hubby and I, of course he wasnt too impressed about that and whinged like anything. At the end of the day he just had to admit he really enjoyed it. We were staying in Kuta and booked transport for an early morning trip up there on the day of the class.
I guess you know her website?? She also has beautiful accommodation up in Ubud. I hope you enjoy the day as much as we did!!
