Hello,
I am seeking some advice from travellers in relation to the alcohol allowance into Bali. As we are getting married next week in Bali we have asked guests to bring a bottle of bubbly or wine due to the excessive prices in Bali and lack of good quality wine.
Does the 1 litre we take over have to be bought duty free or can we purchase at a bottle shop in Perth and pack in our suitcases to take, as long as we adhere to the 1 ltr limit? I called customs Australia but they indicated this would depend on Bali customs.
Has anyone done this before and did they pick it up or try to make you pay additional fees etc?
