The Lanai is a bit remote and the hotel itself was not particularly flash. Our family of five stayed in the The Lanai's self contained villas, which are on the southern end right beside the jungle. Not bad value for the money though compared to what else is available on the Langkawi beachfront. You can hire a car cheaply and there is a couple of things that you must do. Email is open.
