have you been there or are you just knocking it without any knowledge of it? It is certainly not derelict,and is very interesting for the grandeur of the place! Acres of marble and teak.It was planned by the Suhartos to be the biggest and best in Bali. I've visited a few times and will be taking some friends there in Febuary as I think it's bloody well worth seeing.
To each his own though. :)
