Stayed at Gazebo on Sanur Beach . I think the Exchange rate was 97rp to the A$.Hundreds of bicycles and a lot of Balinese wearing traditional clothing. Went on a package tour from Perth where every thing was done as a group. Tours were included,we all ate at the same table, and activities were all arranged. We had a great time after we recovered from culture shock. It was our first time O/S.Most of the vehicles for tourists were old model chevies and holdens. We loved Bali and still do. Just back from our last trip and will go again in the new year.Our friends suggest we should go somewhere else for a change, but we said to ourselves that we would stop when we got tired of the place. Has not happened yet and cant see when it will. It is sometimes the place that keeps us sane!!
