I have never learned to ride a bike. In Nov son (who can ride a bike) did the Bike Baik ride and loved it - highlight of his short trip to Bali. I stayed in the support vehicle & also loved it. I was included in every information stop (rice fields etc) & was not made to feel a useless dill at all (which I am, but nice not to have my nose rubbed in it). I really didn't think I'd learn much (having lived in a village in Bali way back) but I did. The plantation visit was great. Brekky overlooking the volcano was adequate - good taking into account the cost of the trip. Our guide Nyoman was soo good - worth asking for him. The lunch back at Wayan's home was also very good.
Son said the bikes & helmets were good quality. Beats me how they can do it for the price.
If at any time you feel that it is a bit much for you (there are some hills towards the end) then just hop into the support vehicle - easy peasy.
