It's not bad for the money. A big field between it and the beach, so no ocean views mostly. Next to the turn-off to climb the hill to Ashtari (?? Ashanti maybe) restaurant (best in the area by far). Run by Helen from Yanchep - a delightful lady, a delightful restaurant. A great place to spend a few hours catching the breeze, playing board games, reading magazines on the couches while taking in the spectacular views.

What I REALLY disliked about Kuta Indah hotel was the old Euro men with very young local boys - and, no, they obviously were not relatives. I refuse to stay in a hotel where this is condoned. Hope this has changed.

Huge busloads of tourists arrived for lunch there each day. Staff were OK if you could drag them away from the TV. The room was OK, the grounds were very pleasant - lovely pool surrounded by gardens. For surfers it is (or was)better value than, say, Surfers Inn.
