cost of flight change AA Perth-Bali

I have the super cheap special flights from Perth to Bali With AA and cant use them for the dates.

Was just going to let them go but might try and re book for a bit later next year.

Anybody know how its done on line or what costs are involved,

The person at the call center didn't make sense! he gave me the price of the new date and flights to book outright then the price for changing the old tickets was $100 each way more than booking and paying for the new flights outright?
