We bought a dvd player from Alpa's quite a few years ago and it only packed up this year so bought a new one solely for the purpose of travel. That way you already have the correct electrical fittings and they are about 300cm x 250cm still in the box it was bought in. We keep it in that for safer travelling.We do not use this one at home because if you are buying dvd's to play back in Australia then there is a pretty good chance you already have one at home. Cost is about $30 -$35 to buy instead of about $100 to hire for a fortnight.
