We stayed 2 nights at this hotel and were generall very pleased with it: great room, slick modern design, nice linnen, good aircon, nice bathroom, lovely staff, good and affordable food at the restaurant, free wifi (did not work in room but lobby is nice enough), nice pool etc etc.
However, if you are looking for some relaxation near the beach or a resort pool, you've come to the wrong place. The beach is not far away and its only a 10-15min walk to the places surrounding Discovery Plaza, but we did suffer a bit from 'resort pool envy' when walking there ... The pool at the hotel was nice and big enough, but as per the comments of another reviewer, it is a bit sterile and fully enclosed by the hotel itself. We decided to ignore this though and enjoyed ourselves anyway! The hotel was not very busy, so no problem getting a deckchair or towels or anything.
Also the breakfast was good and the place was generally nice and quiet.
