It has been reported that one of the Ozjet aircraft that has been sitting at Perth Airport will be shifted to Jandakot for training engineering apprentices.
Interestingly, the sold 737-200 was built in 1975 !!
The asking price was $642K. (Less than the price of a decent WA house!!)
These were the planes that Indojet were leasing to run Bali services, and possibly the one that I would have been on if the flights weren't eventually cancelled.
Although hopefully well serviced, it's interesting that the planes were older than half the people flying on them!!
It will be interesting to see what the reborn Indojet will be using next.
Look out for swastikas recently scrubbed from wings!!
