however we have a business and the business is in tourism and the guests offer donations after meeting us etc etc, I don't want to say too much, but we also have a child care centre free for the village and sponsor the schools but we are not Saints, this is purely the flip side to our business, we morally feel we cannot work in a poor area without giving back so thank you all for your comments but our website that shows all of our community projects is our business site so I cannot provide it as I would hate to lose my long standing membership to the BTF, I would never be able to complain about the lack of vegemite, Sav Blanc or find anything in Bali.
We work in the Kintamani area that is all I can say. I truly believe if it is meant to be it is meant to be, maybe our paths will cross through our business and then you can help as 100's of our clients have over the years.
Note: we are not in desperate need of any money at the moment, but we are looking for volunteers, so should anyone speak Indonesian (must speak Indonesian) and wish to volunteer, we need some help, must have a police check to work with children and be willing to get their hands dirty, be interested in environmental issues and willing to live in a remote village with basic facilities for the duration. If you know of anyone that fits that description then leave your email open.
