Anada is right. Smudge does wonderful work. He ensures people from the very remote area receive much-needed hospital and other medical treatment and is their lifeline to medical specialists. He does so without fuss and does not solicit support, but receives it gratefully.

I only know a little about Smudge (from casual drinks at S and S), but know that caring for others has always been part of his life and he has a multitude of fostered children who regard him as dad back in the UK

Smudge also suffers ffrom diabetes and has troubles with his legs. He does not complain.

My thoughts are with him and Maddie and his village children as Christmas approaches.
