the beach there is a "Circle K" on the left hand side, just before the T-Intersection of Padma St and Garlic Lane. We changed currency there a few times in the last few weeks and they were very honest. The rate is a fraction lower but for a few dollars it's not worth trying some of the money changers with a better rate as they will try and rip you off. We thought we'd give them a go but several tried to give us less, it was hilarious as we both work in the bank/cage at Crown Casino and are very comfortable and knowledgeable with all currencies. Circle K did not charge commission and they issued a receipt for all transactions. Hope this helps, have left email open if you need more info, cheers.
PS. If you like handbags/leather goods check out "Tommy's" which is on same side as Circle K and a few shops before, they are fantastic!! tell the boys (Nunger, Chito and Wayan that "Komang Kris" recommended them.
