If you were staying at the legian beach in 1995 you presumably would remember they had a wooden boardwalk from there down to the beach? well sammie and susie were the first sellers on the beach on the left as you reached the end of the boardwalk.
Sammie sold the drinks and susie used to sell fruit,peeled pineapples etc and there was another lady selling fruit about 3 or 4 positions down towards Kuta and when sammie and susie got kicked out by the Banjar because they were not from legian (sammie was actually off work at the time after a motorbike accident)the other fruit seller moved to susies position and her nephew (or some relative) got sammies licence for selling drinks,and the same lady is still there now and presumably her nephew also is still there.there was a clothes seller round there who is still around who goees by the name of Lindy loo,she could verify my story as could many others.
