Shazza words cannot help ease the pain you and your family are going through . I however can feel your anguish and sense of utter frustration with not being able get more done for your daughter . 22yrs ago our son was born with Spina Bifida and like you we were left to the mercy of the hospital system . It is very daunting when you are told by surgeons that your son will never walk and be a mental vegtable for the rest of his life and the road ahead for you as a parent is going to be the most difficult . 22 yrs later our son can walk with the aid of crutches and goes to TAFE does tenpin bowling as a sport and enjoys life to the fullest . I won't even attempt to gloss over the road you and your family have ahead of you only to say to you your daughter and family that to get through this tradgic event you have to stay strong be positive and don't change from the supportive family that you are . Yes at times you do feel as though everythings just too damn hard but you just have to get on with life and cope the best you can under the circumstances . To Rhiannon I give my very best regards and wish her a speedie recovery and hope that she does not change from the person that she is . To be positive strong and overcome every hurdle they put in her way and live her life the way she wants to .
