I have been on about this for years!
No commission at Aust Post, but they have fees (they dont have to justify their wording, charges are charges to me!)
Pay in AUD.
Easiest, cheapest and some Rp in change.
In March earlier this year, I paid AU$43 (when the rate to the USD was .68. I handed over au$45 and got 15000rp change) and my friend went to Travelex where she had to pay au$48 for the same amount, ie US$25.
