Yes, the rooms just past reception used to be superior. The rooms naturally are the same but the furnishings have changed. I haven;t been in a tower room recently. Last time was Nyepi last year and I was in a club room. Lovely. From memory the tower deluxe rooms would be larger but the balcony is small. I don't like staying in a hotel where you go up in a lift and your room is off a corridor so the rooms near reception are my favourites. Any of the rooms in that area would be fine. When are you planning on going as they are also in demand. Room #261 is a double on the first floor (2nd by Bali standards). Sorry but I can't remember how the rest of the numbers go. Cheers, Stormy
