Personal attacks, bully boy tactics, misinformation & threats of retaliatory actions because you don't agree with an opinion.
Nobody has even commented on my view to see it as insurance?? Which was my initial comment.
These are the same officials who would lie & cheat new arrivals to fleece them of all they can.
My brother actually used this service. Provided name only to book service, so they didn't know if it was his real name or have any of his passport details. They met him @ the arrival hall where he could see no cues @ VOA or Immigration. He actually used the service & did not renege on the deal.
If they see this & close the loop holes well for them. I don't really care, I have never used this service nor would I. I have actually recommended the service & passed on details to people who wished to use it.
My main comment was to use it like insurance, the part about scamming the scammers was a throw away comment. I suggested locals because they are not pre paid, no other reason.
To say it's a bit much or playing with peoples life's is a bit rich. They must be making a killing. Apparently they are "police or airport security personnel" so have a stable Govt. job already, make extra pocket money fleecing tourists & then AU$27 for 10 mins work. Or is that all misinformation also?
Use it or don't use it. Rort it or don't rort it. It's all about choice & dealing with the consequences.
