What sort of hotel were you looking for? Big? Kids club? More intimate and affordable? Personally, I wouldn't waste the money on a big hotel unless you want a really hotel style holiday. There are lots of lovely cheap ones in Sanur that are very friendly. Last time we stayed at the Taman Agung, which is on the main drag.

Sanur is great for kids. You can take them for a walk along the promenade and let them splash in a wading pool while you have breakfast.

If you need a babysitter in Sanur, let me know (email is open). We have used the same woman on a few trips now and she's wonderful. (Oh, and watch out for the hysteria on here about using a babysitter!)
