Me 32yrs, Hubby 31yrs
Me (cant count how many times, I'll just say 3rd time this yr)
Hubby's 2nd time ever
First Holiday together since having Children....(normally I go on my own or I take the kids)
Only a quick getaway 26th Nov - 30th Nov

We flew Airasia, my second time, arrived in Bali ½ early, no queues, we only had to wait for the bags to come out (15 or so minutes)

Stayed at the Legian Paradiso, Basic but clean room, bathroom flooded a bit when showering and had to run the water about 5 mins before any warmth would kick in.
Pool was clean, plenty of sunloungers, and always towels avail.
Hotel lobby looks a bit dodgy but once you get past that the hotel ground look good, lots of greenery.....
Breakfast was yummy with lots of choices, and it does change daily.

We booked our holiday pretty much last minute, so didn't really have any plans, we mainly just walked, shopped, dined, relaxed, drank, ???..

Found the weather to be quite warm, and not a drop of rain while we were there, unusual as I thought it was the start of the rainy season!
Traffic was bumper to bumper around 7pm everynite along Legian street. And 2 black outs happened at the time we were there.

My hubby spent nearly ½ our holiday cash fund in one go at Syah Art painting.
We took some photo's of the kids on the memory stick and organized to have them painted. (large sizes) I had a painting done back in Aug, and loved the detail. We are having them posted back home when they are finished, (fingers crossed they look as good).

We went on a mission to find anything Ben10 for the 3yr old, and Anything Hello Kitty or Hannah Montanna for the 5 yr old. Our driver took us to this group of shops in Denpasar, that consisted of little toy shops, baby shops, kids clothes and kids bag shop.
Managed to pick up heaps of things, very cheap.

Did a lot of our market shopping at Ketut's...in the 4 days we were in Bali this time, managed to go there 3 times! She has heaps of new stuff that I didn't notice when I was there only months ago.

We ate at Blue Skyz Bar and restaurant, enjoyed a great steak with mushroom sauce, but most of all enjoyed the cocktails....especially the Frozen Strawberry Daquari..YUMMO.
The Yellow Band played there on Sat nite.
Also ate at Porchetta Italian Restaurant, Yummy pizza and the surf and turf was Yummy also, (even if it only came with 3 prawns on it! Lol)

We didn't really like the coffee that most places we went to offered, mainly found they used UHT milk. So we had to go to Coffee Bean at centro for our caffeine Hit. They also serve the best chocolate mud cake ever!

I fell in love with those Mixmax drinks, the Blackcurrant one being my favourite. So easy to drink, have to be careful not to over indulge! Lol

This was my shortest stint in Bali and I felt I was just starting to get into the swing of things, then it was time to come home. But I am glad I managed to convince my husband to go, as he now is talking about booking a family holiday for next year. (we have never traveled all together before, so it something I am looking forward to).

Sorry to bore you
Renee
