Just collect your bags in the same manner as you would anywhere else, and either put them on a trolley or carry them yourself.
There is no need to grab anything or make comments that may be misconstrued.
A firm and polite "no thanks" is enough to encourage the guy to find another more likely punter.
They will understand no thanks.
