I live in Darwin and now own a accom B & B. I announce that upfront.

However I must advise that Darwin is worth more than an Airport stop over that has to be "loathed". Many BTF folk have since learnt this northern city has so much to experience and enjoy.

This small city has endured the most wretched of all disasters - Bombed by the Japenese in WW11, flattened by Cyclone Tracy 1974, no one eats a pumkpin scone, we are so Asia door step that we enjoy the cream of asian cruisine, the Darwin Stubbie is a dinnasour size & yes you can swim with a croc. !!!

Our Barramundi is the best, prawns, bugs, mud crabs & threadfin salmon are sensational.

The world travellers flock here but our "own" often give it a miss and sadly miss out on a great Aussie experience.

The best & cheapest time enroute to Bali is to stay from approx 01/11 to 31/03. You get great value for money.

Just a suggestion for the outside of a airport terminal expereince.
