Last month, I flew with Air Asia X from KL to Melbourne.
I sat in seat 14A as a economy class passenger. Though I was in a "window seat" there was no window, just a plastic wall on my left. Behind me was also a plastic wall, so I could not recline the seat. I sat with my legs splayed because of insufficient legroom.
Row 15 are the exit seats and they had about a metre of legroom.
Would I fly with them again....certainly, as I paid $A96.99 all up, which included 20 kg of checked in luggage, a meal and priority seating.
The LCCT has been renovated since I was last there in February. There is now an English language bookshop where I bought a few magazines and waited four hours in a comfortable seat. The Departure Board directed me to a non-existent gate, a mistake which Air Asia corrected before take off.
