Don't have foils though - just a cut & colour which takes about 50% longer than here in Perth as the head massage with cream bath takes a while &, although service is prompt, they don't rush.
Best time to get there is 10 am when they open. Don't take appointments. Takes me 2.5 hours for cut & colour (no blowdry as it makes my hair too frizzy). Don't go on Sundays - chockers with locals.
You must remember that the Johnny A salons cater mainly to Indonesians of both sexes - they do not target tourists at all which is no doubt why the staffs' English skills are basic Also why they may not do well treating fair hair - they are used to thick black straight hair.
Next week when I am there I will pay a bit more attention to the colour chart as it was a bit too dark in June - no biggie, though.
BTW, the colour lasts just as long as colour treatments done is Perth.
