Friends with plenty of $ (but wanting good value for their big bucks)stayed at Komaneka for their 25th anniversary in September. The first night was at the one in the middle of Monkey Forest Rd but the wild life was a bit noisy for them so they were moved to the new one in Jl Bisma (the same street Honeymoon Guesthouse is in, but further along). This they loved.
Good reviews on Trip Advisor. Next they stayed at Le Jardin in Seminyak which they preferred as a hotel although they found Ubud more interesting.
