we are regulars to bali but have just returned from our 1st stay at the Jayakarta and loved it. The location is fantastic, right on the beach, there are 3 big pools to choose from, beautiful grounds and plenty of great shopping and restaurants close by.
Frank's beach bar out the front of the hotel is a great place to sit and watch the sunset, drinking bintangs and being entertained by the bongo drum players. Its a very popular spot.
There are mixed reviews on the rooms, but really if you don't like the first one ask to see another. You really do not spend much time in your rooms (we didn't) we were so busy during the day.
