Have just returned from a very short trip of only four days.Flew Air Asia ex Perth on Friday 16th and returned Tuesday 20th at 00.30 hrs can not fault AA departed both ways on time seats may be a bit cramped for leg space but know worse than most of local Oz domestic carriers.
We stayed (trip was for wifes birthday)at the Ramada Benoa for the 3rd time and must say we like it more each time- adjacent to the Ramada(on the beach) is TAO restaurant and a second pool are which is just a fantastic area to waste the day away laying back in of the Bales reading/eating/drinking and napping which was what this trip was about.
First day of arrival we put in a big day which consisted of a trip into Kuta for wife to purchase shoes at M.H then a Mango Daq at TJs than onto the AFL shop for some more Hawks gear(ok that was for me bring on 2010).Then off to an old fav Koris for lunch for the Tuna Sashimi followed by the Tuna Hot Stone(not a lot of tuna availale in Kellerberrin).A quick stroll down Jl Legian was followed by a quick beer at The Pub and a surprising meet up with an old friend Jonnie Sliver which kept us there for a few more beers than planned.
Bluebird back to Tanjang Benoa (75,000)and into the pool for a swim and a few more Bintangs before heading over to TAO for another great feed.
The next three days were spent doing nothing as mentioned above in the Bales over at TAO - we did venture into Tuban on the Sunday Night to have dinner with my Father and his partner and some friends from Keller and Badgingarra at the Pantai Restaraunt where a good feed and good night was had by all.Whilst there we checked out the Hotel Baruna (old Bali Hai)as are staying there in December for a few days and I can say we were most impressed with the changes that have been made especially the Envy Bar/Restaurant on the beachfront.
That is it in a nutshell and we now look forward to eighteen days in December when we return for our first Family Xmas in Bali with my sister and crew flying from Darwin and the rest of us from W.A (group of 14 altogether for Xmas Day)
Cheers
Scott
