It is now Jendala at GWK Cultural Park.
I would definitely go to GWK after Uluwatu.
The driver is usually paid for full day or half day.
A driver doesnt usually mind have sitting time and still being paid.
Lots of drivers seem to gather around and chitter chatter while patrons dine. Some restaurants offer food for drivers. Invite your driver to join you if you'd like. Some drivers catch up on sleep and doze the time away.
The views from Jendala are sensational. After sunset you can watch the planes land and take off, boats light up the horizon (looks like a freeway out on the water), you can see the lights of Benoa, Jimbaran, Kuta, legian, Seminyak and beyond.
Meals are also very reasonable, staff have always been attentive to us and delicious choices.
Mozzarella in Jl Legian, closer to Jl Legian past Indo National, is lovely too.
