Hi I have stayed at the Honeymoon Guesthouse regularly over the past7 years. I like the rooms Arjuna A and B. You are up on the top level(2nd floor) and have a lovley veiw out of the bathrrom window and back balcony that is always very peaceful. it is nice to have a whole spacious balcony to yourself as well with a couple of tables day bed etc.
Great breaky selection that you order daily and designate a time that you want it deliverd to your balcony.
Small but lovley pool area and lush garden surroundings. Jl Bisma that you are located on is off the main road and has a great restairant on it called Cafe De Artistes always very popular. Also you have internet and a couple of warungs for water etc. Lovley treatment place named Chantik across the roas from Honeymoon owned by a local lady Jasse. Worth a visit.Read her brochure about how she makes all her products etc as well. You can viit her home just out of Ubud.
To walk in to the main area of Ubud eg. the markets takes only 5 to 8mins and very easy walk. You pass shops etc along the way and money changer so a hady walk as well. You can head the other direction down Jl Bisma till you hit dirt road and rice paddies you can walk to the other end of Money Forest Road and walk up it. It is a good short cut if you want to get to that end quickly.
I like the Guesthouse as it is out of the hustle and bustle but only a quick walk and you are amongst it.
I have always found staff friendly and rooms clean and spacious. They are traditionally style furnished by the way.
The guesthouse also has small cafe type set up next to reception and they have WIFI if you need it.
Have a great time. By the way I have taken many friends to stay at Honeymoon over the years and they all love it.
Cheers and enjoy.
