The Melasti used to be a great hotel. Staff were friendly with many long-termers who would greet you year after year. Rooms were clean and well maintained and it had a fantastic atmosphere. After the "newish" extension was completed, the management seemed to forget their loyal patrons (who had seen them through the tough times!)Then, pretty much began the indifferent attitude to all paying guests, whether you were a first timer or a loyal regular. Sadly, greed has become the priority and the once,happy, friendly value for money hotel,where everyone went to stay, is a thing of the past.
