flights to bali - need to book ahead ?

Ill be arriving in bali and spending first 4 days in sanur. Im wondering whether as soon as I arrive I enquire and book return flight to lombok for 17th nov - 21st nov 09 or whether Ill need to book before then ( and pay by credit card and all the angst that goes with that)

Any thoughts from others? there seems to be quite a few flights per day....................
