That's terrible - poor guy. I have only had scale & polish treatments at Dr Rudy's Kuta rooms & was happy. I, too, am considering implants. My understanding is that they can be done over a week or so in the Denpasar surgery? I don't think you need several return trips to Bali??? I may well be wrong.
I do hope your son-in-law gets in touch with Dr R to complain. He certainly should. Please keep us informed as this place sends a lot of custom to Dr R. All too often people only post about the positives (probably because of flaming - for some reason people dislike seeing negative reports about someone/thing/place they favour and respond nastily).
If more people posted about negative experiences as well as positive ones we would all have more data on which to make an informed decision about having especially expensive things done in Bali.
