here's some ideas. Not in any order.
Have included Melasti but this could be considered top end of Kuta.
**Bianco - JL Padma ( Beach End LHS just before you get to Padma Hotel entrance on RHS) Colonial Style lovely atmosphere. Prices very reasonable
** Indo National - JL Padma ( JL Legian end ) An array of western dishes & Local.
** Yutz - JL Werkudara ( Rum Jumgle Road ) LHS coming from beach. Good Steak. Reasonably Priced.
** Tommys - JL Werkudara ( Rum Jumgle Road ) RHS coming from beach and just past Yutz which is on the left.
** Sheppy's Jl Melasti - LHS Beach end before you get to Uncle Norms & just after the intersection with Garlic Lane.
** Ketumbar - JL Melasti - turn left out of Garlic lane and head toward JL Legian end of Melasti its on LHS just as the market stalls end.
