Dogs aren't going to go away. Doesn't matter how many are killed. As rabies is a serious problem in Asia, rabies vaccinations for dogs are a must. It's another way to protect the children.
The Bali government is starting their next round of rabies vaccinations on dogs very soon.
How does slaughtering dogs help hungry children? Doesn't matter how many dogs are slaughtered, people who love animals will not stop donating the same amounts of money towards animal welfare.
It's a shame Balinese children cannot have more of the money spent on them that every Balinese family spends on offerings.
One of the reasons dogs are called demons is because they scavenge in food that is left in offerings.
