A generation ago we used to stay at 'Three Sisters Losmen' in Padma St. nearby was a Deli, run by an ageing Chinese couple.
One day Sunshine had the opposite to Bali Belly, so I went in there to buy some suitable obat. The man yells out to his missus out the back, "This man no sheet, what I give?" No, for my wife "Oha, hees waifa no sheet, he yells as his own wife must have been in Kuta". "You geef heem xyz, wery goot."
Next day, creeping down the other side of the street I heard at full volume. "yo waif sheet OK now? Haff goot sheet to-day??" Each and every day the condition of my wife's rear end became the topic among the hangers-on around Padma St. "Yo waif sheet OK to-day?" Good craic.
