I would actually go a little bit further up the beach (like all of 30 metres i think) to The Beach Cafe - a very talented dutch chef who does great food - some dutch treats but also some excellent interpreteations of Indo dishes and international dishes.
The beef rendang is superb - i think it is wrappned in pandan and slightly smoked - very tender and tasty.
He does a lovely curry roll which is curry wrapped in a chapati (i think) and served with one of the best chutneys i have ever had.
He does a magic dessert taste plate also.
You can get a few tables and chairs together and sit on the beach with the sand between your toes - possibly worth booking !!!
