Oh boy are you in for a shock if it's been 15yrs since you have been to that area . There are footpaths down both sides of Jl Pratama new shops , resuarants , hotels going up at an amazing rate any spare large blocks of land seem to have a new hotel going up and at various stages of consruction . Nusa dua Galleria is now Bali collection where you will find more upmarket shops . The old Karis department store is still there under the name of Succo and still plenty of good Restuarants in the complex itself . Can highly recommend Coco's across the road from the Aston and Bumbu bali down to the left . Can also recommend Giorgio restaurant inside the Aston itself sitting on the newly built balcony overlooking the street . The tarimasu is simply to die for . Hope you won't be dissappionted with the Aston I know we've never had a problem in all 9 stays there.
