I have purchased statues, water features, letterbox etc over the past 4 years & had them shipped home.
Depends on where you live but it is easier & cheaper to go through a company that handles it for you. Either a shipping company, a bali retail shop (in aussie)or a australian bali shopping company that will allow you to purchase stuff & use their shipping company to bring it home. This way all fumigation, fees & packaging is taken care of.

I use a local bali retail shop that sells everything bali. They give me a price per cubic meter before each trip & the contact details of their shipping company. All I do is shop & get it sent to cargo. All statues & stonework is packed in crates to protect them. They ring to advise the container arrival date & when they have un packed they ring me to pick it up. You will need to arrange transport for large staues something like a truck with a hiab or crane on it. We have a crane truck with our business so this is easy for us. As long as all items are for personal use & not for resale they dont mind.

This includes personal shopping for gifts, nik naks & clothing I can either send straight to cargo as the shop will pack it in boxes or take back to my hotel & the shipping company sends boxes for me to pack then they pick them up.

if you want to email me I can send you the details of the main stone place I visit in Batubulan to purchase products & some prices

Well worth the waiting time & effort to shop around. Then you can sit back & say I bought that in Bali!
