your girls like to snorkle but if not i would not go to Amed or Padang Bai - too far and pretty average in my opinion.
Ubud for sure for me. Lots of hotels but just choose one on Monkey Forest road and you will all be able to walk everywhere and the girls will be central enough to do their own thing.
If you dont mind being just out of the centre have a look at Villa Sonia - 15 minute walk thru the monket forest into town.
